Whilst Co-Pilot is great sat-nav software on the HTC Touch HD, its live traffic service (an extra £34 for two year licence) is a bit ‘hit and miss’. The latest issue of PDA Essentials (issue 84) has an interesting match up between the iPhone, HTC Touch HD, Blackberry Storm and Sony-Eriksson Xperia X1. Short review of the HTC Touch HD which I received 10 days ago.
Battery life: Quite impressed, will last over a day with light use, maybe even two days. Today it lasted all day with 2 hours of sat nav work, a couple of calls, a bit of internet, and email checking every 15 minutes.

HTC Touch HD mobile phone is definitely available now for SIM free purchase. It will be available on Orange contract very soon, but no sign of it yet on the Orange website.
